PROJECT DESCRIPTION / ENGINEERING SCOPE OF WORK:

Ross Engineering provided civil engineering services on an existing South Florida Water Management S-124 Culvert Replacement Project in the city of Sunrise, Florida. The replacement of the existing S-124 structure has the new structure proposed approximately 150 feet north of the existing structure. With this new proposed location, the road was extended north on both sides of the canal. The road is proposed with a 12 inch compacted sub-base and 12 inches of compacted limestone. A general permit has been identified by the Broward County EPD which requires water quality treatment to be applied to the limits of construction, excluding the canal right-of-way.
