PROJECT DESCRIPTION / ENGINEERING SCOPE OF WORK:

Scope of work includeS paving, grading, drainage, and utility design for this Town of Davie, FL project. The 11 acre site has existing retail and office buildings. A 1.2 acre open space will be used to add a 45,000 square foot addition to the existing building. An additional 5,000 square foot of Retail Strip center building in the front of the property and 8,000 square feet of flex space is proposed for the rear of the property. Additional engineering scope of work is to obtain Stormwater permits with Central Broward Water Control District and SFWMD for parking lot drainage and the addition of dry retention areas. Potable water, sanitary sewer and fire connections will be extended to the new building and permits with Broward County HRS and EPD will be obtained. A traffic analysis was performed and a turn lane design and Florida Department of Transportation construction permit will be obtained for the increase in trips, the closure of two driveways on University Drive and a joint access frontage road between the property to the north (Southeast Centers) of the Atrium Center.
