DESCRIPTION:

The scope of work for this higher education engineering project includes master planning about 8 acres out of the 125 acre property. The intent is to grow the campus with an extra 5 buildings, parking lots, roads, utilities, drainage, landscape over time. In addition to the master planning effort, the higher education engineering team was contracted to design, permit and give construction engineering services for Phase 1 of the Master Plan’s expansion. Phase I is a  6,000 SF building that includes labs for research in mainly the agricultural field. ADA criteria was strictly followed and design was based on Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) concepts. This higher education engineering project received LEED Gold certification. This higher education engineering project started in June 2011. Master planning finished in late June; final design for construction documents was completed in December of 2011; construction started in earl 2012 and was completed in December 2012.
