PROJECT DESCRIPTION / ENGINEERING SCOPE OF WORK:

Hired a the hospitality engineer for the preparation of civil engineering design for a hotel operator and two commercial out-parcels. The engineering scope of work included paving, grading, drainage, water, sewer, erosion control, signing and striping plans. Additionally, ERP permitting was successfully completed with the south Florida water management district, FDEP, St. Lucie West Services District and the City of Port St. Lucie. The storm water management included one half inch dry pre-treatment with an overflow control structure that discharged to the St lucie west master plan lake system.  Construction was completed in 2008. The hospitality engineer is responsible to ensure the hotel’s roof system is tied into the main parking lot drainage system. Other responsibilities for Ross Engineering included designing the pool area and pool deck for both utilities and positive drainage.
